A Slight Adjustment to My Blogging Schedule: Reblogging is Back!

Another chance to get some great exposure for your articles.

Dream Big, Dream Often

Since I started my blog lots of things about the way I blog have changed.  I never understood how organic and alive a page can be.  It takes on a life of its own and finds a way to become what it needs and wants to be.

The schedule I have found works well is to post a Dream Big Original in the morning followed with reblogs and article shares expressing similar and dissenting views; kind of like an ongoing discussion throughout the day on one specific topic.  I like this approach because it allows me to help others by reblogging and at the same time it produces a theme that can be 2followed all day and keeps my page organized.

I am going to make a small adjustment to my schedule, though.  At 6:30 pm est my daily topic discussion will end and I will then finish the end…

Who am I?

No doubt about this one. I am so going to be following this blog.

Amy Lou Blogs

Well now, isn’t that the most complicated question? At some point or another everyone comes to a point where they find themselves thinking about who they are, who they grew up to be. I’m certainly not the person I thought that I would be when I was younger. I was so sure that my life would go down a certain path but when I got there it just was not what I expected.

So who am I now? I’m opinionated, more so than most people. I’m sarcastic beyond all sense and reason. I like things my own way, but I’ve learned to compromise. I’m honest (most of the time) and nothing makes me angry like being lied to. I’m protective of the people who matter to me and I would do anything for them. Not all my personality traits are good but that’s okay. It’s okay to just be unapologetically…

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “A True Saint.”

In 300 years I would like to be remembered as the Patron Saint of Determination. I would like to be remembered as someone that never stopped fighting for what I feel is right. Never stopped searching for the truth. The guy that never backed down from defending that truth.

In our society today it is fashionable to never stand up for anything. Because if you stand and say that one thing is right then you are in effect saying that something else is wrong and that means that whomever believes that other thing then they have to be wrong. But I stand by the old well used slogan that if you don’t stand for something then you’ll fall for anything and that is so true and you can see it in everything today. Standing for something is believing in something and because no one wants to stand for anything they also believe in nothing. At least in action. If you asked them they believe in a lot of things but if you watch their actions then you can see that they believe in nothing.

So in 300 years let them remember me and say that the Patron Saint of Determination spent his life doing and standing for what he thought was right. He did it with love, compassion, and true hope that he would lead someone else to the truth and that they would have a better life because of it.
